This thing is SOLID- has held it's own in a few early Spring storms in northern New England. It took my husband and I about 30 minutes to put together. I agree with other who said just Ignore the pre-drilled holes and go with your instincts and it goes together quickly and securely. The thing I like most, in addition to the headroom and the sturdy design, are the multiple vented windows...I killed a few seedlings last year with a poorly vented greenhouse...never again. The quality of this one far exceeds the others. We normally take them down when warm weather hits but this one is so nice and unlike the others it opens all the way at both ends, we may leave it up. And for some bizarre reason, the sections of frame have holes for the wing nuts to go into that you shouldn't use. Really, if you use the holes, the frame will be too long for the covering, and you'll be left wondering why. I know I was. Instead, make sure all the frame pieces are fitted together as far as possible, rather than using pre-drilled holes. Also, the cover is VERY tight. Getting it bungied to the frame is not a job for the faint of heart, or weak of fingers. Much tugging and swearing is necessary. Two people are a must for this job, three would be better. That said, the greenhouse is huge for the price (the 9' ceiling is lovely), and seems to be fairly well constructed, a good value, despite the few missing bungees I was shorted. |
